Halen is back!

With their 3rd (III) and possibly best CD, Halen is definitely back. What makes it so stellar is how frontman Gary Cherone sounds like the perfect mixture of Roth and Hagar - maybe they should call him Rothgar!! Anyway, I just really dig the unique sounds on this album; they sort of remind me of the Halen-era classic "1984," from, you guessed it!, 1984!!!!!

III has all the classic songs of pre-Hagar Halen and later Halen when they were featured in "Twister" (oh, how I miss those days). Call it what you will, this is great music by an up and coming band. The Halen brothers really seem to be gelling these days.

Hopefully Roth and Hager will quit the state fairs and start recording awesome music again! Speaking of that, I heard Roth would be back in the fold by later this year. Am I correct in this thinking?? Someone please fill me in!! LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
