Van Halen Are The Greatest Rock Band Ever!

First of all, I'm biased because Van Halen has been my favorite band since I was 17 or so. (I'm 31 now) I bought a guitar back then after hearing Eddie's guitar playing. If you are reading this and aren't familiar with them, go out and buy Van Halen (their first album). If you don't like the CD, then stop there; you don't like rock music. LOL If you do, go buy Van Halen II, Women And Children First, Fair Warning, and so on. If you like great rock music, then you will like most, if not all, of their CD's. Alot of people just know some of the songs on the radio, but there are so many other great ones! Sure, most people prefer either Roth or Hagar-era Van Halen, but I like all of it. I know most of Hagar-era is more "radio-friendly", so some will prefer that era better. I was disappointed that Hagar was out, but since Eddie is my favorite guitar player, I knew I would like whatever vocalist came onboard (I trusted that he'd find a good one!) I won't bore you with a track-by-track list with opinions of each song on Van Halen III, like some of these whiners, so I'll just say I love the album. I think Gary Cherone sounds great singing on this and Eddie's guitar work is incredible, as always. Is it different than their other CD's? Sure. In certain aspects it is, but I can listen to it as much as I do any of their other ones. Buy this CD and after a few listens, make up your mind. By the way, Eddie plays guitar solos with Steve Lukather on "Joy To The World", Steve's Christmas CD "Santamental", which was released on Oct. 7th, 2003. He's playing great and hopefully this will be the start of alot more music from the greatest guitar player ever! Remember folks, I'm biased and if you don't like this CD, then don't hold it against me. Not everyone likes the same music. Peace....
