I finished high school in 1981.At that time Sammy's solo career was just starting to take off with his signing with Geffen Records and release of "Standing Hampton" At the same time Diamond Dave and VH were already establishing themselves as the world's premier Hard Rock Band and Eddie was considered the most innovative guitarist in rock. I was a Hagar fan first and foremost, but also had all the VH albums loved both entities seperately. When Sammy joined VH, I was crushed because I felt VH was best off with Dave, and Sammy was best with a guitar in his hands.Now things are looking up with Sam back to doing what he does best, but that leaves VH in the hands of Extreme??Those who think Cherone sounds like Sammy haven't actually heard Sam sing.Go see his solo concert!As far as the new guy, what's he saying?? And those lyrics: "Fire in the hole---Fire in the hole---FIre in the hole---Fire in the hole!"Pretty creative!This is Ed's musical soulmate?To put! it in a nutshell, this album sucks!It's weak! Thank you Eddie for releasing Sammy from your tired old guitar that hasn't sounded innovative since 5150.Sam, thanks for Marching to Mars!!
