There is some really good stuff on here. The problem is
that VH fans are either Dave or Sammy fans and I just
don't thinkthey are truely open to anything else. You
can break down alot of these "Van Halen" fans and what
you will find is that most of them are really David Lee
Roth or Sammy Hagar fans and not Van Halen fans. Me? I'm
a VH fan and I guess that is why I'm open to this.

This isn't to say this is a top 5 album because it is not
at all.. But there are some really good tunes here like
"Without You" "One I want" and "Fire in the hole" and
"Dirty Water Dog" is fairly good as is "From Afar" but
the last 3 songs are terrible and they try really hard
to bring the album down..But if you stay away from the
last 3 you will find this is a good album.

DLR fans are mad because these isn't party rock... But
at the sametime it isn't the country-ish type of music
that Sammy Hagar era is. It isn't "Unchained" but it
also isn't "I Can't Stop Loving You" and fans just
can't get down with that for some reason.
