GAry Cherone, did the worst thing a singer could do. He impersonated Sammy Hager. Sammy and David had their own styles neither one copied the other. Gary sounded fiercly like Sammy and almost drove me away from Van Halen. FYI, I am not saying Sammy is bad. SOme lyrics on here really suck, badly. But the album grows on you, no matter how bad it is. IF you buy this album well, it 'll probably be the last VH album you'll ever buy. So buy one their Roth or Hagar albums first.
