If you are looking for STP or Guns n Roses still, this is the wrong place, Velvet Revolver is their own band, with its own unique sound. If you are expecting to hear Guns n Roses with a new singer, then yes, you will be disappointed. But if you sit and listen to this album, you realize how truly great it is. Slash brings back guitar solos, finally. Scott Weiland has the perfect voice and lyrics to mesh in with Duff's bass and Matt's drums. Dave Kushner hangs in perfectly with the veteran group. Excellent album, Real rock music is making its return, thanks to Velvet Revolver
