Classic hardrock?

I just had to write a review after reading one that said: "this isn't exactly classic hard rock like Ac/dc, Metallica etc. but closest thing to it recently". Contrabands sounds have absolutely nothing to do with such bands nor Guns'n'Roses either, this is typical modern hard rock just the same as everyone else has been making in the recent years. Gladly there is also bands that still make the good stuff, for example try Hanoi Rocks come back album 12 Shots On The Rocks or Guilty Pleasures by Quite Riot. Velvet Revolver sounds like modernized bit trashy/punky version of Slash's Snakepit.
