Just love that Slash....

Before I even knew who Velvet Revolver was I was listening to the radio and heard Broken... I recognized the distinct playing style of Slash immediately. A 20-something in the 80's I loved Guns & Roses and just fell in love with the sound of Velvet because of sentimental reasons I'm sure.

I have to say though, while I find this CD great for pumping off 400 calories on the eliptical, there are some of the songs that I just don't like, they are almost too busy - but some are destined to become classics.

Advice, if you love Broken and are looking for a CD that will have that sound all the way through, don't buy it, however, if you love a good ballad or two mixed with some good jam for head banging, buy it! :)
