Haha! This is so bad it's Funny

This band sounds a little too much like Manowar. That wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the subject matter. Manowar metal for angst-ridden teens who don't mind owning albums with half-naked men standing on them. I'm not saying manowar sucks (well, actually I am) but the point is when you do a metal concept album you should have powerful, stately metal. Virgin Steele's cheap brand of Manowar-esque metal sounds retarded trying to tell a story like this. How can we take this story seriously when the singer screams every word (except on the ballads, obviously) and the guitars are more suited to arena/hair metal? Why don't I just listen to Manowar? At least they aren't taking themselves too seriously. This cd reminds me of "Crappy Music For Idiots" by The Mighty Losers of Death.
