(8/10)i have never been a big fan of vonda shepard, she bugs me. BUT this album isnt so bad. its actually pretty . i guess its hard to butcher christmas songs.. if you are debating on buying this cd then i will tell you one thing at least buy it for the hauntingly true to life remake of joni mitchells song "river" by robert downey jr. it will send a shiver up your spine its so good. that boy can sing! i wonder if he chose to sing this song because its a very deep and emotional song and RDJ brings a very soulful honesty to it.. other than that macy grey is good as always. this cd is just a good christmas staple to own, at least for prsoperity buy it.
