Vonda Is Good, But Jennifer Holliday Is The Diva !
Review Score:

(6/10)
I have all three of these Ally soundtracks, and while I must say
Vonda can definitely hold her own without cheesy guests like Robert Drowning, Jr., I would also like to hear the songs performed by the other guests like Jennifer Holliday. That Diva tore the set up belting out that great gospel number ("I'm So Tired Of Being Alone") and who didn't love that beautiful ballad she did in the bar setting.....("Sometimes A Fool For Love")
Jennifer stole the show everytime she was on camera. I'll never understand some people, Jennifer deserved to be a regular cast
member. That bar ballad was gorgeous, almost rates right up there with And I Am Telling You/Giving Up for it's emotional
delivery and execution. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE- When it comes time for the Ally show to put out " THE BEST OF ALLY McBEAL SOUNDTRACK ", please LORD, please let them put the rafter rousing
gospel number and the bar ballad by Jennifer Holliday on it.
Since you CANNOT purchase these songs by Jennifer anywhere else,
it would be lucrative to include those songs by her on the BEST OF compilation, not to mention fitting, since Jennifer's songs
belong amoungst the other women singers, and not replaced by some loser like Robert Drowning, Jr. Amen.
