I never get tired of these Ally McBeal CDs.

FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE delivers more delicious tunes by Vonda Shepard, but the highlights are the guests that appear on the CD. Al Green, Tina Turner, and Barry White each contribute a song that was featured on the award winning series. Robert Downey Jr. also appears with a solo, "Snakes", a duet with Sting on "Every Breath You Take," and the highlight of the CD, which is the duet with Shepard on "Chances Are." "Love Is Alive" adds a little club music, pairing Shepard with Anastacia. This would have made an interesting dance mix.

One of the highlights of the Ally McBeal TV show is the songs that are played during the series. I am so glad that Fox Music shares that with us in a series of CDs. This collection appeals to all ages, but are especially dear to fans of the TV show.
