I'm Your Baby Tonight

WHITNEY'S THIRD STUDIO ALBUM

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (8/10)
There are only a small handful of songs here that are memorable. IM YOUR BABY TONIGHT, MY NAME IS NOT SUSAN, ALL THE MAN THAT I NEED, and MIRACLE. As soon as the third song comes to an end, the album falters a great deal. The ones you'll probably flip back to are ones mentioned above, they are simply the best here. And as good as she and Stevie Wonder are, they go together like peanut butter and anchovies. Perhaps that's a bit harsh, but they just don't sound good together. All and all, duets aren't their thing. However, I would still buy this album just for the few worthwhile songs, just don't expect as good an album as her first two.

11/30/02 Update-by the way, the CD has a picture of the Twin Towers on it, so you may want to purchase a copy for obvious reasons.
