Whitney Houston is popular for her older songs such as "I'm Every Woman". She has a wonderful voice and with this CD proves that she can still deliver that old school flow with newer beats. Ms. Houston teams with Missy Elliott, Wyclef Jean, Babyface, and Rodney Jerkins on this album. Whitney starts the album off with the slow songs "Heartbreak Hotel" and "When You Believe". You've got to love Whitney for her vocal skills shown on both of these songs. "If I Told You That" and "In My Business" continue the album with that newer feel. "Get It Back" is one of my personal favorites. This Rodney Jerkins track mixes a hip-hop bass line with Whitney's soulful vocal skills. This track is essential for the success of "My Love Is Your Love". "Until You Come Back" is the Whitney from the 80s to the early 90s that everyone knew. "I Was Made To Love Him" is a hidden track on the disc that sounds like a Lauryn Hill song with it's Stevie Wonder harmonicas and it's guitar chords. I think it's the perfect ending to a perfect album. Whitney deserves 5 stars because she gave all she had. Some older artists who were big back in the day try to come out with a newer sound that fails because it's corny and isn't the sound people associate them with. Whitney soars because she makes it her own.
