Toughen up, Roughen up...Just Better!
Review Score:

(10/10)
Finally Whitney released a new studio album after 8 years...
And man, you just can't help and enjoy it.
Narada michael Walden and Michael Masser are no longer in the game, substituted by wonder child producer "DarkChild" Jerkins and Wycleff Jean, while Babyface and David Foster thankfully stayed on board.
Diane Warren steps in with some 3 great tunes.
You also get a duet with Mariah i alreday reviewed, so i ain't gonna stop on that one.
I'll move to some real R'n'B feeling that this album has thanks to tunes such as IF I TOLD YOU THAT, IT'S NOT RIGHT BUT IT'S OKAY and GET IT BACK.
Whitney's getting her voice dirty with this kind of music, and it just feels that good!
HEARTBRAK HOTEL is probably my favourite of it all
She even dares a mid-raggae song with the titletrack.
And then you have the ballads: that trademark by Whitney that will always be wanting me to buy her albums.
YOU'LL NEVER STAND ALONE should have been picked instead of I LEARNED FROM THE BEST among Warren's work to be released as a single.
UNTIL YOU COME BACK is an epic Babyface job styled in the '60's mood.
In my opinion this is the Whitney the market needed back, and if that's what you've been missing too...then get this one!
