This album is simply marvelous. It is the one time in her career when Whitney Houston sounded distinctive without sounding diva-esque. Her voice is sweet, her tone is strong, yet it is basically without the histrionics she succumbed to after this album. From the honeyed opening track of "You Give Good Love" to the rich blend of chocolate of "Hold Me", this confection is both delectable and nourishing. The only track that keeps it from gaining five stars is the leading contender for all time worst song: "The Greatest Love Of All". This song is below the talent of anyone who has ever attempted it. Fortunately, all of the other tracks on this album cover for it in such a way that one can suffer through the song, if only to get to the next one. A must have for 80's R&B devotees
