Great album...

I came into the Wilco canon relatively late. I discovered YHF and it immediately became one of my top 5 albums ever. I am a huge fan of indie pop music (Beulah, Decemberists, Tahiti 80, most Elephant 6 bands, etc.) and Wilco is the creme-de-la-creme. Jeff Tweedy is a brilliant songwriter with an immense skill for catchy, melodic pop songs that are more than just 4 minute confections. A lot og thought, work, and imagination goes into each song which is why unlike most modern bands, Wilco rewards more upon repeated listenings and this album is #1 in that category. The first 2 times I listened to it I didn't really like it and put at the bottom of my cd case. After a few more listenings I really loved this album. All in all, it's probably my 2nd least fav Wilco album (ahead of A.M.) but it is just slightly behind "Being There". Overall, a Wilco fan is not going to be dissapointed but I would recommend to a newbie either "YHF" or "Summer Teeth" to see them at their best.
