Brilliant!!!

Damm, damm, damm...
I'm an old fan of Wilco. I've enjoyed every and each step Jeff Tweedy's band to stardom. In the meanwhile, I've spent LOTS of hours listening to the brilliant A.M., Summerteeth, Being There, Yanky Hotel Foxtrot, and rare stuff (I'm still waiting for a B-Sides record including "True Love Will Find You In The End", or a live concert).
But I'm a little coward, I must recognize. I have "A Ghost Is Born" since the first month it was released but for some reason and due to some reviews, I was reluctant to put it in my stereo. You know, I remember the first time I heard U2's "Pop", and how dissapointed I felt that the old magic was gone forever. The same feeling when a new REM record is released: wondering if they are still making music with their hearts or finally they decided to make music to fill their pockets.
I made the great decision yesterday. I put "A Ghost..." in the stereo, and boy, magic was born... again. Every track is plenty of talent, feeling and risk. Even "Less Than You Think". It's just a question of time to catch the sense and beauty of that track, as it happened some time ago with the works of Jesus & Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, Pixies, just to mention some names.
When that time arrives (one week? twoo weeks?), it will be a 5 stars.
