Not as good as the first volume?

I am a fan of all of the artist involved. That said...

In my opinion this DOES NOT live up to the first volume. These songs seem like backwash or scraps. I have tried over and over again to get into this disc. It just does not grab me. If you are looking to make a purchase, I'd suggest - the first volume of MERMAID AVENUE or check out WILCO's SUMMERTEETH CD.
