This transcends all other happenings in "pop" or "alternative" these days. I can't finish this album. I listen to the first track, go back and listen again. I make it to the second, go back to #1 and listen to both again.

Wilco continues to evolve from the roots of Tupelo. Whereas Son Volt's most recent seemed a step backward, SUMMERTEETH is a tremendous leap forward.
