A truly incredible album. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot finally shows that there are still bands out there worth listening to that are still great bands that aren't hip, post-ironic blatant retreads of rock's history. Lyrically, this album is pitch-perfect- one only needs to listen to "Poor Places" to realize that- but the total idea of this album, formation and disentegration, is so brilliantly pursued in the "noise" aspect that it is difficult not to realize the symphonic genius of Wilco. Buy it today.
