(10/10)ok, most everybody likes this. In response to the reviews that derisively say that Wilco is trying to be art-y: If they are, they succeeding at it. This album is more than just some background music to listen to while you're at work or studying. It is music that is actually both demanding and rewarding. Some of the bad reviews sound like they are from people who would've declared Almost Blue terrible because the harmonies aren't cheery or Billie Holiday boring because she just can't find the beat.
