Plenty of hooks, but no catch. The best moments come from when they sound like a pastiche of their noted influences. More time seems to have been spent on the electronic garnish than actually writing good songs, and ultimately neither of these elements are very interesting. Tweedy's voice is irritating, and the honest yet depressingly formulaic lyrics don't help. What troubles me is how devoid of emotion is--when I listen to YHF, I feel nothing. I don't care about this album at all.
