another couple mills for g-unit

Yo first off i'd like to start by saying that all you stupid "im so stuck on true hip-hop" buffs are getting on my last nerves listen....if ur so about true hip-hop, then why are u bothering to waste your time reviewing a mainstream commercial rap album or even listening to it for that matter? Dont get me wrong, i love all music and i do love def, i love kwali but that truely is a differnt catergory of music. everyone knows that people like 50 and banks are no where near the lyrical style of people like mos def and kwali, thats why talib and def arent mainstream put two and two together people....g-unit, aftermath, shady records are all out there to entertain and sell records, thats what the industry is about....if you want stuff closer to the roots of hip-hop go back and listen to 50's the power of the dollar album which sounds nothing like his extremely praised "get rich or die tryin" album. And whoever that was that said Dre is one of the most underrated producers must have their head up their a** do your homework fam...This album however i must say i was not too impressed with off the bat but like almost every record i own, it takes some time to grow on me. One extremely large flaw and weakness at a lyrical standpoint, that i dont think anyone else touched on was bucks opening lines to songs....how many times can you mention what kind of different rims you have? "im cadillakin through the hood sittin on 24's" "my 26's spinnin, stickers still on'm" it doesnt stop there, otherwise i would honestly have to hand the success of this album to the producers. From about track 6 on...the cd is pretty damn good. "Stomp" in my opinion is over-rated but it is a bangin southern club song. "black gloves" in my opinion is an excellent song, you dont hear to many tracks structured that way it was a unique rhyme style used. NOt impressed with the openin track i think track 2 is a better overall song for the opener(maybe it's just because 50 is runnin out of things to say in the hooks) Overall, if you like g-unit, if you like gangsta commercial rap, this album is a deffinate buy, but if your strictly a hip-hop buff, shut up and stick to your edgy attitude because some people like those "weak punchlines" and "elemantary lyrics" why? cause their entertaining and easy to sing along to and most of all....cause their F***** selling records....
