It's official. 50 Cent has become his own worst enemy: Ja Rule. Ja was the man behind the conveyor belt of mass-produced redundant and uninspired hip hop until 50 stepped up and ripped him to shreds... yeah, we all through 50 was tough, but now look at G Unit - in the last two years the G Unit click has come out with four albums that sound EXACTLY THE SAME. This isn't hip hop, this is just mass-produced garbage.

So basically G Unit is the new Murder Inc, with repetitive beats and uninspired themes. You haven't heard 'Warrior' yet on Lloyd Banks' solo? It's okay, just listen to Young Buck's song 'Soldier', it's exactly the same song.

I thought Buck might come with something fresh with the whole southern flavor and whatnot but instead you get a New York attempt at Southern rap, which is like Lil' Jon trying to pull off a Queensbridge beat.

The only thing that I'd give to G Unit at this point is that they're still coming strong on the mixtape. Otherwise this group has become as interesting as a third season of The Simple Life, and equally as dumb.

Thank god for Jadakiss or this summer would have been one of the worst for hip hop since Ja put us through all those duets with Ashanti way back when.
