Young Buck rips it
Review Score:

(8/10)
I've been looking forward to Young Buck's solo effort ever since Beg For Mercy, and especially after Lloyd Banks disappointing solo debut. After listening to it several times, I gotta say, Young Buck's album is way better than The Hunger for More. With good collabo's and some good beats, Young Buck holds his own with his tough talk lyrics. Of course, being a member of G-Unit, all his songs basically talk about the same thing (i.e. drugs, sex, murder) but it's still a good cd.
Im A Soldier (4/5) Nice beat, nice way to start off
Do It Like Me (4/5) Tight-ass beat, but lyrics ain't that great
Let Me In (5/5) Still good even after radio overplays
Look at me Now (1/5) Easily the worst song on the album, annoying hook, horrible beat
Welcome To The South (3.5/5) Tight beat, tight hook, but Lil' Flip has the best verse
Prices On My Head (4.5/5) Featuring up-and-coming D-Tay from Cashville, and Lloyd Banks proves he's better on someone elses album than his own
Bonafide Hustler (3.5/5) Just an overall OK song
Shorty Wanna Ride (5/5) Next single and best song on the album
Bang Bang (4.5/5) Another tight song, only bad thing is the hook
Thou Shall (5/5) Overall good song, tight ass hook, great lyrics
Black Gloves (4/5) Gets better as you hear it more and more
Stomp (4.5/5) Feat T.I. and Ludacris with great verses, good track
Taking Hits (4/5) Again with D-Tay wit him actually rapping, and he shows some good flow, good track
Walk With Me (3/5) Just an OK song, pretty good to stick at the end of album
Overall, a really good album and only bad song is "Look At Me Now" but that's better than Lloyd Bank's album. Worth the money so go and cop that.
