Do the 'Velcro Fly'. I've been listening to this CD all day, in fact i'm listening to it right now. Recorded in 1985, smack-dab in the middle of the coolest decade of all time, "Afterburner" is possibly my favorite ZZ album, with "Eliminator" and "Recycler" being an extremely close 2nd. ZZ embraced the 80's full on, fusing keyboards and synthesizers with their legendary blues rock. It's hard to say what my fav tracks are, because I like all 10 of 'em. If I had to pick a few, 'Velcro Fly', 'Stages', 'Can't Stop Rockin', and 'Rough Boy' would be right up there at the top. Billy Gibbons' guitar work on 'Rough Boy' is just awesome, particularly the 2 guitar solos in the song. 'Velcro Fly' has a great drum beat, and 'Can't Stop Rockin' is just non-stop fun, as is the whole album! This album also has a great cover/title concept, and is my favorite album cover from ZZ. I don't really understand all of the low reviews of this album, it's great. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of their 70's music too, but I like the 80's stuff as well. Any true ZZ fan will love this album. It will always be a favorite of mine. It's packed with supercharged energy and Billy's signature great guitar work. Billy, Dusty, and Frank are just plain cool and they rock. If you're a true ZZ fan, or just a fan of great music, then you'll love it. If you don't have it, you know the drill. ROCK ON!
