ZZ Top on MTV. Say it isn't so!

Hard to believe as it may be now, ZZ Top's first appearance on MTV in 1983 (for the ace video of "Gimmie All Your Lovin'") was quite a shock to long term fans. For all of that, "Eliminator" is not a sell out album. Sure, the boys added a few sythesizers to the mix, but this is still the same blooze and boogie that is their trademark. The highlights include the aforementioned "Gimme," as well as "Legs," "Sharp Dressed Man," and "Got Me Under Pressure." Not their best album ("El Loco" claims that title), but a good crossover to the mainstream.
