A great!

This CD cooks from start to finish. I think the best songs are the ones that feature his lead playing a lot. Interstingly, these lyrics seem to reflect Gibbons as a sensitive [and bespectaceld] young man. I think that Brown Suger [beer] really changed his life. Old man, my fave here is a mezmerizing ballad, a sympathetic tribute to a dying old man who wants to be alone, I think Brown sugar, another standout with great lead licks is about beer. A few songs don't have very good song structure but otherwise this is a great album. His tone is impeccable on Shakin your tree and is very bluesy as is neighbor, neighbor. Other standouts are Backdoor love affair, a great rocker, Just got back form babys, a bit like Fool for your stockings, and Bedroom thang, where he rejects a girl because she's too young. About the CD, this also has been shortened in places. I don't know every one but my CD has Backdoor love affair at 2:42 but the original is 3:20.
